At Bil Wahy Nasmu we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains the data the app handles and how it is used.
1) Data we handle
Notification identifier (Firebase Cloud Messaging token): when notifications are enabled, the app generates a device token and sends it to our servers so we can deliver notifications and Sunnah reminders to you. This token contains no personal information.
Data stored only on your device (never sent to us): your favorites, interface language, selected city, and reminder settings.
Search: your search terms are sent to our servers only to return the results you request; they are not linked to your identity and are not stored for tracking.
2) Data we do not collect
The app does not collect your name, email, phone number, address, or location. It does not require an account or sign-in. We do not use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising.
3) Data sharing
We use Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver notifications; it acts as a data processor on our behalf. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing.
4) Data security
All data exchanged between the app and our servers is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS).
5) Data retention and deletion
We retain the notification token for as long as the app is installed with notifications enabled; the token is refreshed or expires automatically. You can delete your data by uninstalling the app, or by emailing us at the address below to request deletion.
6) Children's privacy
This app is not directed to children under the age of 13.
7) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
